Shereelah Deen, MD

Shereelah Deen, MD started work initially as an Emergency Room physician in 1989, and then added primary care in 1990. She worked in both fields for many years, but has been a primary care physician for over 3 years. Dr. Deen believes that medical care is a very satisfying career because it enables her to monitor and maintain optimum health of her patients, and to help heal them when ill. She says she enjoys the rapport with her patients and takes time getting to know them. “I make time to get to know their fears and hopes and have seen them age with me through the years,” she says. Over the years, she notes that patients have commented that she can be “tough but caring” when it comes to enforcing compliance with their overall health care needs, and Dr. Deen appreciates this sentiment. “My goal is that there should be no compromise when it comes to achieving good health,” she says.
