Althea Marie Diaz, MD, is a board-certified physician who is dedicated in the recognition, management and treatment of allergies, asthma and immunologic disorders in both children and adults. Her areas of expertise include food and environmental allergies, allergic contact dermatitis, chronic spontaneous urticaria and other related conditions. Dr. Diaz also offers an extensive array of services including allergen skin testing, allergy immunotherapy, patch testing, and food/drug challenges.

Dr. Diaz, a native New Yorker, is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton University. At Binghamton University, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Thereafter, she completed her graduate medical education at New York Medical College in Valhalla in 2019.
Following medical school, Dr. Diaz completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine in Mineola, New York. She subsequently pursued a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology, also at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine.

Dr. Diaz is deeply committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. She is attentive to their needs and concerns and strives to develop a collaborative relationship with her patients so that she can provide personalized care. Her goal is to ensure that her patients feel heard and supported as they navigate through life with allergic and immunological disorders, which can greatly impact their quality of life.
